Sliced turkey, lettuce, tomato, and mustard in a whole wheat wrap.

Fit Turkey Wrap

Heat 6 gallons of water to 165°F (74°C). Add the pale malt, flaked oats, and caramel malt to the water and mash at 152°F (67°C) for 60 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Mashing

After mashing, sparge with enough water to collect about 6.5 gallons of wort in your brew kettle.

Sparging

Bring the wort to a boil. Once boiling, add the Citra hops and boil for 60 minutes. In the last 15 minutes of the boil, add the Simcoe hops.

Boiling

After the boil, quickly cool the wort using a wort chiller or an ice bath until it reaches 70°F (21°C).

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermenter and pitch the yeast. Seal with an airlock and ferment at 68-72°F (20-22°C) for about 1-2 weeks.

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of water and add to the beer before bottling. Bottle the beer and cap.

Bottling

Allow the bottles to condition at room temperature for 1-2 weeks before chilling and enjoying your Wicked Weed Pernihaze Hazy IPA!
