Kombine 2025 is an unfiltered, full-bodied blond beer with a subtle hoppy aroma.

In a large brew kettle, heat 6 liters of water to 165°F (74°C). Add the Pilsner and Munich malts and stir well. Maintain the temperature at 150°F (65°C) for 60 minutes to allow for mashing.

Mashing

After mashing, sparge the grains with hot water to collect the wort. Aim to collect about 5.5 liters of wort.

Sparging

Bring the wort to a boil. Add Hallertau hops at the start of the boil and Saaz hops with 15 minutes remaining. Boil for a total of 60 minutes.

Boiling

After the boil, cool the wort quickly to about 70°F (21°C) using a wort chiller.

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel. Pitch the lager yeast and seal the vessel with an airlock. Ferment at 50°F (10°C) for 2 weeks.

Fermentation

After fermentation is complete, transfer the beer to a clean keg or bottles. Carbonate and condition for 2-4 weeks.

Conditioning
