Fit Turkey Wrap

Heat 6 gallons of water to 165°F (74°C). Add the Pale Malt, Flaked Oats, and Carapils Malt into the mash tun, maintaining a temperature of 152°F (67°C) for 60 minutes.

Mashing the Grains

After mashing, sparge with enough water to collect 6.5 gallons of wort in the brew kettle.

Sparging

Bring the wort to a boil. Once boiling, add 1 oz of Citra hops and 1 oz of Mosaic hops. Boil for 60 minutes.

Boiling the Wort

With 15 minutes left in the boil, add the remaining Citra, Mosaic, and Strata hops.

Adding Late Hops

Cool the wort quickly to 70°F (21°C) using a wort chiller.

Cooling the Wort

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermenter and pitch the yeast. Ferment at 68°F (20°C) for 2 weeks.

Fermentation

After fermentation, dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of water and add it to the beer. Bottle the beer and let it carbonate for an additional 2 weeks.
