In a large mixing vessel, pour in the 750 ml of high malt blend. This will form the base of your whiskey.

Combine Base Ingredients

Ensure that the pre-used bourbon barrel is clean and ready for aging. Rinse it with water to remove any residues from previous aging.

Prepare Bourbon Barrel

Finely chop the delicate fruits such as apple and pear. Add them to the mixing vessel with the high malt blend.

Add Delicate Fruits

Add 50 g of natural malt extract into the mixture. Stir gently to ensure even distribution.

Incorporate Malt Extract

Add 100 g of oak chips and the two vanilla beans (split and scraped) into the mixing vessel with the other ingredients.

Prepare Aging Mixture

Carefully pour the mixture into the prepared bourbon barrel. Seal the barrel tightly to prevent air from entering.

Transfer to Barrel

Allow the whiskey to age in the barrel for a minimum of 6 months to develop rich flavors and balance.

Aging Period

After aging, carefully siphon the whiskey into clean bottles. Make sure to leave any sediment behind.

Bottling the Whiskey

Dilute the whiskey to 80 proof by adding distilled water, if necessary. This will enhance the delicate fruit and malt flavors.
