Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine the flank steak, red chili powder, garlic powder, and olive oil. Ensure the steak is evenly coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade, letting excess drip off. Grill or sear the steak for about 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, crack the eggs and cook to your preference (sunny side up, over easy, etc.). Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice open the baguette or ciabatta bread. Layer the sliced steak, followed by the cooked eggs, and top with provolone cheese. Optionally, you can melt the cheese by placing the sandwich in a warm oven for a few minutes.
