Espresso Martini Directions
- 1
Prepare Espresso
Brew 2 oz of fresh espresso using your preferred method. Let it cool slightly while you prepare the other ingredients.
- 2
Mix Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine the freshly brewed espresso, 1.5 oz vodka, 0.5 oz Amaro Averna, and 0.25 oz simple syrup.
- 3
Add Ice
Fill the shaker with ice cubes (about 1 cup) to chill the mixture.
- 4
Shake
Securely close the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled and frothy.
- 5
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass. You can use a fine mesh strainer for a smoother pour.
- 6
Garnish
Garnish the drink with 3 coffee beans on top for an aromatic touch.
