Method

Prepare the Bacon-Wrapped Scallops

Wrap the Scallops

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Wrap each scallop with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.

Place the wrapped scallops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the scallops are opaque.

Make the Maple Soy Glaze

Combine Glaze Ingredients

In a small saucepan, combine maple syrup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Cook over medium heat until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.

Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, toss mixed greens with olive oil and preserved lemon peel. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Make the Green Onion Aioli

In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, chopped green onions, lemon juice, and minced garlic until well combined.
