Cider & Serving

Method

Cider & Serving

1

Chill bottle

Ensure the Magners bottle or can has been chilled to about 3–8°C (37–46°F). Refrigerate for several hours before serving if not already cold.

2

Prepare glass

If you prefer your cider very cold, populate the glass with 4–6 ice cubes. For a classic presentation, use the glass without ice to preserve carbonation and flavor.

3

Open cider

Open the bottle or can carefully. If using a bottle, do so over a sink or towel to catch any foam overflow.

4

Pour

Tilt the glass to a 45° angle and pour the Magners slowly down the side to reduce excessive foam. As the glass fills, gradually straighten it and finish pouring to produce a modest, stable head (about 1–2 cm).

5

Garnish (optional)

If desired, squeeze a lemon or lime wedge lightly over the surface and drop the wedge into the drink for a bright citrus note. Alternatively, rest the wedge on the rim for presentation.

6

Serve

Serve immediately while cold. If you used ice and the cider becomes diluted, offer a fresh chilled bottle as a top-up.
