Prepare Ingredients
Wash and slice
Thoroughly rinse the lemon, lime, orange and cucumber under cold water. Thinly slice the lemon and lime (about 6–8 thin slices from each half), slice 1–2 thin rounds from the orange, and slice the cucumber into very thin rounds. Gently bruise the mint leaves by clapping them between your palms once or pressing lightly with a spoon to release aroma.
Assemble the Karbach Ranch Water
In a large pitcher (approx. 2 liters), add the cold filtered water and the ice cubes.
Add the slices of lemon, lime, orange and cucumber into the pitcher, distributing them evenly so every glass will get some citrus and cucumber. Add the bruised mint leaves.
If you prefer a slightly sweetened Ranch Water, stir in the raw honey or agave syrup now until fully dissolved. Taste and adjust: add another 1/2 tsp if you want noticeably sweeter, or omit entirely for a crisp unsweetened version.
Pour in the sparkling mineral water just before serving to maintain fizz. Stir gently once to combine — avoid vigorous stirring to preserve carbonation.
Ladle or pour into serving glasses, adding a mint sprig and a citrus wheel to each glass as garnish. Serve immediately so ice and bubbles remain lively.
Notes & Variations
For a traditional Ranch Water (Tequila-based), add 1.5 oz (45 ml) blanco tequila per serving at step 2 before adding sparkling water. For a lower-temperature infusion, let the pitcher sit refrigerated for 30 minutes prior to adding sparkling water and serving. Use chilled sparkling water to maximize effervescence.
