Prepare the Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, bread crumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
Form the Cakes
Shape the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches wide. Place them on a plate lined with parchment paper.
Chill the Cakes
Refrigerate the crab cakes for at least 30 minutes to help them hold together while cooking.
Cook the Cakes
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the crab cakes and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
Serve
Remove from skillet and serve warm with a side of tartar sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
