Method

Preparing the Marrow Bones

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2

Prepare the Garlic Basil Crust

In a bowl, mix minced garlic, chopped basil, and sea salt together. Add olive oil to create a paste.

3

Coat the Bones

Spread the garlic basil mixture over the exposed marrow of the bones.

4

Roast the Bones

Place the coated marrow bones on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the marrow is soft and slightly bubbling.

Making the Crostini

5

Prepare the Baguette

Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.

6

Toast the Crostini

Brush each side of the slices with olive oil, sprinkle with sea salt, and toast on a grill or in the oven until golden brown.

Making the Salsa Verde

7

Combine Ingredients

In a food processor, combine parsley, capers, garlic, lemon juice, and sea salt.

8

Add Olive Oil

With the processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the mixture is well combined but still chunky.

9

Plate the Dish

Serve the roasted marrow bones with grilled crostini and drizzle salsa verde over the top for added flavor.
