Method
Preparation
Wash the Lychee
Rinse the fresh lychee pieces under cold running water to remove any dirt.
Peel the Lychee
Using your fingers or a small knife, gently peel the outer skin of each lychee to expose the juicy flesh inside.
Remove the Seed
Carefully remove the seed from the center of each lychee flesh. The flesh is edible and should be left intact.
Serving
Plate the Lychee
Arrange the peeled and deseeded lychee pieces on a serving platter or individual plates.
Add Garnish
Place mint leaves and lime wedges around the lychee for added flavor and decoration.
Enjoy
Serve immediately as a refreshing starter. Encourage guests to squeeze lime over the lychee for an extra zing.
