Wash the strawberries thoroughly, hull them, and slice them into thin pieces. Place them in a mixing bowl.

Prepare the Strawberries

Add sugar and lemon juice to the sliced strawberries. Toss gently to coat the strawberries with sugar and lemon. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to macerate.

Sweeten the Strawberries

Wash the fresh mint leaves and gently bruise them by tapping with a spoon to release their oils.

Prepare the Mint

In a flute glass, layer the macerated strawberries, followed by a few mint leaves. Pour the chilled Prosecco over the top until the glass is filled.

Combine Ingredients

Garnish with an additional mint leaf or a whole strawberry on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately.
