Method
Punch Base
Combine juices
In a large pitcher or punch bowl, pour 2 cups pineapple juice, 1 cup passion fruit juice (or mango nectar), 1/2 cup mixed berry syrup, and 1/4 cup fresh lime juice. Whisk or stir until the berry syrup is fully incorporated and the mixture is homogeneous.
Chill and adjust sweetness
Taste the base and adjust sweetness as desired. If too sweet, add up to 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice; if too tart, dissolve 1–2 tablespoons sugar into a tablespoon of warm water and whisk in. Refrigerate the base for at least 15 minutes to cool before adding carbonated elements.
Add carbonation
Just before serving, gently fold in 2 cups chilled club soda to preserve the fizz. Stir slowly once or twice to combine; avoid vigorous stirring which will flatten the soda.
Alcohol (optional)
If making an alcoholic version, stir in 1 cup light rum and 1/4 cup melon liqueur to the chilled punch base after adding the club soda. Taste and adjust alcohol level to preference. If serving nonalcoholic, omit these spirits and increase club soda or add a splash of additional pineapple juice.
Garnish & Assembly
Create swampy color effects
To create streaks and a deeper blue-green 'swamp' look, drizzle 2 teaspoons blue curacao in thin lines into the punch or into individual glasses after pouring. The blue will sink and create veining. For extra shimmer, sprinkle about 1 teaspoon edible glitter or luster dust over the surface and gently stir once to distribute without removing all the sparkle.
Add cotton candy
Place a piece of cotton candy on top of each glass or float a small tuft on the surface of the punch bowl. When ready to serve, pour a small ladle (about 1/4 cup) of the punch directly onto each cotton candy so it dissolves and creates a sweet, frothy, colored fizz. Alternatively, press the cotton candy to the rim and let guests pour to create the effect themselves.
