Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling your serving glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of mezcal, 1 tsp of agave nectar, and 3 dashes of orange bitters.

Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes (about 1 cup) to chill the mixture thoroughly.

Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled and combined.

Garnish the Drink
Twist a strip of orange peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop the peel into the glass as a garnish.
