Strawberry Shake

Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Select ripe Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, ensuring they are free from rot and pests. Harvest approximately 1 kg of grapes.

Harvesting Grapes

Wash the blueberries and blackberries thoroughly. Remove any stems or leaves and set aside.

Preparing Blueberries and Blackberries

In a clean fermentation vessel, crush the harvested grapes to release their juices. This can be done by hand or using a grape crusher.

Crushing the Grapes

Add the washed blueberries and blackberries to the crushed grape mixture.

Mixing Fruits

Introduce the oak chips and cedar planks to the mixture to infuse the wine with subtle oak and cedar notes.

Adding Oak and Cedar

Pour in 1200 ml of water and add 100 grams of sugar to the fruit and grape mixture. Stir gently to dissolve the sugar.

Sprinkle 10 grams of yeast over the mixture and stir gently to incorporate.

Yeast Addition

Cover the fermentation vessel with a clean cloth and allow the mixture to ferment in a cool, dark place for about 7-14 days, stirring daily.

Fermentation Process

After fermentation, strain the mixture through a cheesecloth or fine mesh strainer into a clean container, discarding solids.

Straining the Wine

Transfer the strained wine into bottles, ensuring they are clean and sterilized. Seal with corks.

Bottling

Store the bottles in a cool, dark place for at least 6 months to allow flavors to develop and mature.
