Choose a high-quality Chardonnay wine from California. Gather juicy pears, fresh pineapple, lemons, and any optional ingredients like oak chips.

Peel and chop the pear into small pieces. If using fresh pineapple, peel, core, and chop it into chunks. If using canned pineapple, drain it well.

Cut the lemons in half and squeeze out the juice, removing any seeds.

In a large pitcher, combine the Chardonnay, chopped pear, pineapple pieces, and lemon juice. Stir gently to mix all ingredients.

Pour in the mineral water to add a refreshing fizz. Stir gently again.

If using oak chips, add them to the mixture and allow it to sit for at least 30 minutes to infuse the flavors.

Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Serve in chilled glasses with ice if desired.
