Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Chili Crisp Oil

Method

Chimichurri Sauce Preparation

1

Prepare the Chimichurri Sauce

In a medium bowl, combine chopped parsley, chopped cilantro, minced garlic, red wine vinegar, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes. Mix well until all ingredients are combined. Cover and set aside to let the flavors meld.

Dirty Martini Infusion Preparation

2

Prepare the Martini Infusion

In a shaker, combine Boyd & Blair vodka, Dolin Blanc vermouth, and pickled Fresno pepper brine. Shake well and set aside.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich Preparation

3

Prepare the Grilled Cheese

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread. Place two slices, butter-side down, in the skillet. Top each with half of the cheddar cheese, then place the remaining slices of bread on top, butter-side up.

4

Cook the Sandwich

Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has started to melt, about 3-4 minutes. Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.

Assembly and Serving

5

Assemble the Dish

Remove the grilled cheese from the skillet and let it cool for a minute. Cut the sandwich in half and drizzle with the prepared chimichurri sauce and a spoonful of chili crisp oil. Serve alongside the dirty martini infusion in a chilled glass.
