Method

Kalbi

1

Prepare Kalbi Marinade

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, chopped green onions, and black pepper. Marinate the beef short ribs in the mixture for at least 3 hours or overnight.

2

Grill Kalbi

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated short ribs for about 5-7 minutes per side or until they are nicely charred and cooked through.

Crispy Wings

3

Prepare Wings

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss the chicken wings in the mixture until well coated.

4

Fry Wings

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat. Fry wings in batches for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Yaki Style Salmon

5

Prepare Salmon Marinade

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, and minced ginger. Marinate the salmon fillets for 30 minutes.

6

Grill Salmon

Grill the marinated salmon fillets on medium heat for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.

Pickled Vegetables

7

Pickle Vegetables

In a bowl, combine sliced cucumbers, julienned carrots, rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Toss well and let sit for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Furikake Rice

8

Cook Rice

Rinse the short-grain rice until the water runs clear. In a rice cooker or pot, combine rice and water. Cook according to your rice cooker instructions or bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 15-20 minutes.

9

Season Rice

Once cooked, fluff the rice with a fork and mix in the furikake seasoning.
