Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Rice

In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 2 cups of rice, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until rice is tender and water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes.

2

Steam the Vegetables

In a steamer basket over boiling water, add broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers. Steam for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp. Remove from heat and set aside.

3

Cook the Salmon

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Brush the salmon fillets with teriyaki sauce on both sides. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Baste with additional teriyaki sauce while cooking if desired.

4

Serve

Fluff the rice with a fork and portion onto plates. Place a salmon fillet on each plate, add a side of steamed vegetables, and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Drizzle additional teriyaki sauce on top if desired.
