Method

Cocktail

1

Prepare glass

Fill a highball or pint glass with ice to chill while you mix the cocktail. Set aside.

2

Mix drink

In a cocktail shaker (or large mixing glass), add 2 oz Belvedere vodka, 4 oz Brooklyn's Bloody Mary mix, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce, 3 dashes hot sauce, 1 tsp ground black pepper, and 1/4 tsp celery salt. Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup).

3

Combine and integrate

Secure the shaker lid and roll or gently shake the mixture for 8–12 seconds to chill and slightly aerate the mix. (If using a mixing glass, stir gently for 15–20 seconds.)

4

Assemble

Discard the ice from the chilled serving glass and fill it with fresh ice. Strain the mixed Bloody Mary into the glass over the fresh ice.

Garnish

5

Run the lemon wedge around the rim of the glass (optional) and drop the wedge into the drink or clip it to the rim.

6

Place a celery stalk upright in the glass. Add 1–2 green olives on a cocktail pick and/or a pickle spear as desired.

7

Finish with a light grind of black pepper on top and serve immediately with a straw.
