Yogurt Base

Blueberry Vodka Compote

Method

Yogurt Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Yogurt Base

In a serving bowl, add 2 cups of Greek vanilla yogurt. Smooth the top with the back of a spoon and set aside.

Blueberry Vodka Compote Preparation

  1. 2

    Make the Blueberry Vodka Compote

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 2 cups of fresh blueberries, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 3 tablespoons of vodka, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Stir gently and bring to a simmer.

  2. 3

    Simmer the Compote

Allow the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the blueberries have burst and the liquid has thickened slightly. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble the Yogurt Bowl

Spoon the blueberry vodka compote over the yogurt base, allowing it to cascade down the sides. Then, sprinkle 1 cup of ancient grain granola over the top.

  2. 5

    Add Fresh Fruit

Top the yogurt bowl with 1 cup of sliced fresh fruit such as strawberries, banana, or kiwi for added freshness and flavor.
