Salad Base

Tahini Dressing

Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lettuce

Wash and dry the frilly romaine lettuce thoroughly. Tear it into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Slice the Watermelon Radish

Using a sharp knife, slice the watermelon radish into thin rounds. If desired, you can also cut the rounds into quarters for easier eating.

  3. 3

    Chop the Red Onion

Peel and thinly slice the red onion. You can soak the slices in cold water for 10 minutes to reduce their sharpness, then drain and add to the salad.

  4. 4

    Grate the Carrot

Wash the carrot, peel it, and then grate it using a box grater or food processor. Add the grated carrot to the salad bowl.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Grapes

Wash the red grapes and cut them in half if desired. Add them to the salad bowl.

  6. 6

    Crumble the Goat Cheese

Crumble the goat cheese over the top of the salad mixture.

Tahini Dressing Preparation

  1. 7

    Mix the Dressing Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, and water. Whisk until smooth and creamy.

  2. 8

    Season the Dressing

Add salt and black pepper to the tahini mixture, adjusting to taste. If the dressing is too thick, add a little more water until the desired consistency is reached.

Combining and Serving

  1. 9

    Toss the Salad

Drizzle the tahini dressing over the prepared salad ingredients in the bowl. Toss gently to combine and coat all the ingredients evenly.

  2. 10

    Serve

Serve the salad immediately as a refreshing side dish or a light main course. Enjoy!
