Toppings

Method

Donut Holes

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dough

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

  2. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk and vanilla extract. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Mix Dry and Wet Ingredients

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

  4. 4

    Add Fruity Pebbles

Gently fold in the Fruity Pebbles cereal into the batter until evenly distributed.

  5. 5

    Heat Oil

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C).

  6. 6

    Fry the Donut Holes

Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, carefully drop the batter into the hot oil, frying a few at a time to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.

  7. 7

    Drain and Cool

Remove the donut holes with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Toppings

  1. 8

    Dust with Powdered Sugar

Once the donut holes are cool enough to handle, roll them in powdered sugar until fully coated.

  2. 9

    Serve with Nutella

Transfer the donut holes to a serving plate and serve warm with a side of Nutella for dipping.
