Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Glass
Chill a coupe or cocktail glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the cocktail.
- 2
Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine the Old Forester bourbon, Cointreau, fresh lemon juice, and blackberry jam.
- 3
Add Ice
Add ice cubes to the shaker, filling it halfway.
- 4
Shake Well
Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled and combined.
- 5
Strain into Glass
Remove the ice water from the chilled glass and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass using a fine mesh strainer to catch any blackberry pieces or pulp.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Garnish the cocktail with a lemon twist and a few fresh blackberries. Serve immediately and enjoy!
