For the cocktail (per serving)

Method

Prepare the glass (optional)

  1. 1

    Rim the glass

If you like a sugared rim, rub a lime wedge around the edge of a chilled martini or coupe glass, then dip the rim into coarse sugar. Set the glass aside to dry briefly while you mix the cocktail.

Mix the Pom Cosmo

  1. 2

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.

  2. 3

Add 2 oz citrus vodka, 0.5 oz Pama pomegranate liqueur, 1 oz cranberry juice, 0.5 oz pomegranate syrup, and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice to the shaker.

  3. 4

Cap the shaker and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and the ingredients are well chilled and slightly diluted.

  4. 5

Strain the cocktail through a fine mesh strainer (or the shaker strainer) into the prepared chilled martini or coupe glass to remove small ice shards and any pulp.

Garnish & finish

  1. 6

Float 1 tsp pomegranate seeds into the drink and rest a lime wheel or wedge on the rim or inside the glass.

  2. 7

Serve immediately. The drink is gluten free. Estimated 237 calories per serving.
