Base
Monin syrup (choose one flavor)
Garnish & optional additions
Method
Prepare glass and optional fruit
Chill glass and prepare fruit
If desired, chill the serving glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes. While glass chills, slice your chosen fresh fruit (watermelon cubes, thin apple slices, halved raspberries or halved cherries) into bite-sized pieces for garnish.
Place 1 cup ice cubes into the serving glass (or omit if serving flat and room temperature is preferred). Add the fresh fruit pieces into the glass for extra aroma and presentation.
Mix flavored water (single serving)
Measure syrup
Choose one Monin flavor: Watermelon, Apple, Raspberry, or Cherry. Add 1 tablespoon of the selected Monin syrup directly into the prepared glass over the ice and fruit.
Add water (fizzy or flat)
For a fizzy drink: slowly pour 2 cups (480 ml) of cold sparkling water into the glass over the syrup to preserve carbonation. For a flat drink: pour 2 cups (480 ml) of cold still water instead. Pour gently to avoid excessive foaming.
Stir to combine
Using a long spoon or stirring stick, gently stir the mixture 6–8 times to fully dissolve the syrup and distribute flavor without flattening carbonation (if using sparkling water). Taste and adjust sweetness: add up to 1/2 tablespoon more syrup if you prefer sweeter.
Finish and serve
Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime or lemon wedge on the rim. Optionally add one or two extra fruit slices on top. Serve immediately while cold and, if fizzy, while the carbonation is lively.
Variation for pitcher (4 servings): multiply syrup by 4 tablespoons total and combine 4 cups cold still water and 4 cups sparkling water (or 8 cups still) in a pitcher. Stir gently and add ice and fruit to individual glasses when serving.
