Method

Glass + Garnish

1

Choose a short rocks glass or a tall Collins glass depending on desired size (recipe built for an 8–10 oz glass). Place the Tajin onto a small shallow dish.

2

Rub the lime wedge around the rim of the glass to moisten it, then dip the rim into the Tajin to create an even, spiced rim. Set the glass aside.

3

Skewer the watermelon wedge or cube on a cocktail pick and set aside for garnish.

4

Build

Fill the rimmed glass with ice. Add the tequila (2 oz) and Watermelon Pucker (1 oz) directly into the glass.

5

Balance

Pour in the fresh lime juice (0.5 oz). If you prefer a slightly sweeter drink, add the simple syrup (0.25 oz).

6

Heat

Add 3 drops of your chosen hot sauce. Start with 2–3 drops, taste, and add up to 5 drops if you want more heat. Stir gently with a bar spoon 6–8 times to combine.

7

Top

Top the mixture with chilled Sprite (3 oz). Give one gentle stir to integrate the soda without flattening it.

8

Garnish & Serve

Finish by placing the watermelon skewer on the rim or into the drink. Serve immediately with a straw and a small spoon for the garnish.

9

Tasting note: The Tajin rim adds citrusy-spicy contrast to the sweet watermelon and fizzy Sprite while the hot sauce gives a subtle savory heat that complements the tequila.
