1

Prepare glass and mint

Place the fresh mint leaves in the bottom of a cocktail shaker or mixing glass. Add the simple syrup and gently clap or muddle the mint 2–3 times to release aromatic oils without shredding the leaves.

2

Build the drink

Add Deep Eddy Orange vodka, cranberry juice, and fresh lime juice to the shaker with the muddled mint. Add ice to the shaker until it is about three-quarters full.

3

Shake

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker becomes cold and slightly frosty. This chills and slightly dilutes the mixture for balance.

4

Strain and top

Fill a highball or Collins glass with fresh ice (about 1 cup). Double-strain the shaken cocktail into the glass to remove mint bits (use a fine mesh strainer if available). Top with club soda (about 2 oz) and give one gentle stir to combine.

5

Garnish and serve

Garnish with an orange wheel on the rim and a small sprig of mint. Optionally slap the mint sprig between your palms once and tuck it into the drink to boost aroma. Serve immediately with a straw.
