Place the bottle of Benziger Sauvignon Blanc in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving, or in an ice bucket filled with equal parts ice and water for 20–30 minutes to bring it to an ideal drinking temperature of about 45–50°F (7–10°C).

Chill the bottle

Select clean white-wine glasses (or stemmed glasses). If you prefer a slightly colder, more casual presentation, fill the wine glasses with 1/4 cup of cubed ice each to keep the wine crisp without overly diluting it.

Serve immediately at the chilled temperature. Encourage guests to hold the glass by the stem to maintain the wine’s cool temperature and to swirl occasionally to release the wine’s aromas.

Recork the bottle and refrigerate. Consume within 3–4 days for best flavor; the wine will remain bright and citrus-forward but will gradually lose its aromatic intensity and mineral nuance.
