Method

Prep

  1. 1

Make strawberry puree (if not using pre-made)

Hull and quarter 2 medium strawberries. Place in a small blender or food processor with 0.5 oz pineapple juice and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh if you want a silky texture (optional). Measure out 1 oz for the recipe.

  2. 2

Chill a coupe or martini glass by filling it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail.

Build & Shake

  1. 3

Discard ice water from the chilled glass. Add ice to a cocktail shaker (about 6 pieces).

  2. 4

Into the shaker add 2 oz Smirnoff Pineapple Infused Vodka, 1 oz fresh strawberry puree, 0.5 oz pineapple juice, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup if using.

  3. 5

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled and slightly frothy.

Finish & Serve

  1. 6

Double-strain the shaken mixture into the chilled coupe or martini glass to remove ice shards and any large fruit bits.

  2. 7

Top gently with 1.5 oz (about a splash) of Sprite to add effervescence. Stir once lightly with a bar spoon to integrate but avoid losing too much carbonation.

  3. 8

Garnish the rim with a lime wheel and float the halved strawberry on the surface or skewer it on the rim.

  4. 9

Serve immediately. Drink straight up (no additional ice in the glass).
