Fit Turkey Wrap

Heat 5 gallons of filtered water to 160°F (71°C) in your brew kettle. Add the Pilsner and Carafoam malts to the water and maintain the temperature for 60 minutes.

Mashing

After mashing, sparge the grains with about 170°F (77°C) water to rinse out sugars. Collect the wort in your brew kettle.

Sparging

Bring the wort to a boil. Once boiling, add the Saaz hops and boil for 60 minutes. Add the Hallertau hops in the last 15 minutes of the boil.

Boiling

After the 60-minute boil, cool the wort using a wort chiller or an ice bath until it reaches 70°F (21°C).

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel. Pitch the Pilsner yeast and seal the vessel with an airlock. Allow fermentation to occur for 2 weeks at a steady temperature of around 65-70°F (18-21°C).

Fermentation

After fermentation, dissolve 3 oz of corn sugar in 2 cups of boiling water. Add this to the bottling bucket, then siphon the beer into the bucket, mixing gently. Bottle the beer and cap it.

Bottling

Let the bottles carbonate at room temperature for 1-2 weeks. After that, refrigerate before serving.
