Cooking the Shrimp

Cook the Shrimp
Once the water is boiling, add the 2 pounds of large shrimp to the pot. Stir gently to ensure the shrimp are submerged.

Boil and Rest
Boil the shrimp for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the pot from heat, cover, and let the shrimp sit in the hot water for an additional 5 minutes to soak up the flavors.

Drain and Serve
Carefully drain the shrimp in a colander and let them cool slightly. Serve warm with Creole Cajun Butter for dipping.
Making the Creole Cajun Butter

Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter until fully liquid.

Combine the Ingredients
Once the butter is melted, add 4 minced garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce. Stir well to combine.

Finish with Parsley
Remove from heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of freshly chopped parsley. Serve warm in a small bowl alongside the shrimp.
