Coffee & Spirits

Method

Coffee & Spirits

1

Brew coffee

Brew high-quality drip coffee so it is fresh and piping hot. Measure out 8 oz (about 1 cup) into a pre-warmed heatproof mug or glass.

2

Combine alcohol

In a mixing glass or small pitcher, pour 1.5 oz 2nd City bourbon and 0.75 oz butterscotch schnapps.

3

Add the hot brewed coffee to the mixing glass with the spirits. Stir gently for 10–15 seconds to combine and slightly cool. This helps meld flavors without losing too much heat.

Syrup & Garnish

4

Stir in 0.5 oz house marshmallow syrup into the coffee-spirit mixture until fully dissolved. Taste and adjust: add up to another 0.25 oz syrup if you prefer sweeter or more marshmallow-forward profile.

5

If desired, top with 2 tbsp whipped cream. Lightly dust with 0.25 tsp grated dark chocolate or a pinch of cocoa powder for contrast.

6

Serve immediately while hot. Provide a small spoon for stirring so the drinker can distribute the cream and garnish as they like.
