Method
Cocktail
Prepare shaker
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice to properly chill and dilute the drink.
Combine ingredients
Add 2 oz Botanist Gin, 1.5 oz fresh pineapple juice, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz grenadine to the shaker. If you prefer a slightly sweeter cocktail, add 0.25 oz simple syrup.
Shake
Secure the shaker and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and well-chilled.
Prepare glass
Fill a chilled coupe or rocks glass with fresh ice (if serving on the rocks) or leave it empty if serving straight up.
Strain
Double-strain the cocktail into the prepared glass using a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer to remove ice chips and any pulp for a silky texture.
Garnish
Garnish the drink with a pineapple wedge or leaf and a lime wheel on the rim. If using an edible flower, float it gently on top of the cocktail for an elegant presentation.
