Churros Ingredients
Method
Churros Directions
Prepare the Dough
In a medium saucepan, combine water, granulated sugar, salt, and vegetable oil. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in flour until the mixture forms a ball. Allow it to cool slightly.
Add Eggs
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until the dough is smooth and glossy.
Pipe the Churros
Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe strips of dough into the hot oil, cutting them to your desired length.
Fry the Churros
Fry the churros until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Coat with Sugar
In a shallow bowl, mix cinnamon and powdered sugar. Roll the hot churros in the mixture to coat.
Serve
Serve the churros warm with chocolate sauce or caramel for dipping.
