Preparation

Preparation

1. Chill beer and glass

Ensure the Budweiser is well chilled (ideally 38°F / 3°C). If you prefer a colder drink, place the glass in the freezer for 10–15 minutes or fill briefly with ice water, then discard the ice water before pouring.

2. Optional: add ice or garnish

If you like your beer extra cold and don't mind slight dilution, add 3–4 ice cubes to the glass. Alternatively, leave the glass empty for a traditional presentation. Set a lemon or lime wedge aside if you plan to garnish.

3. Pour the beer

Hold the glass at a 45° angle and begin pouring the chilled Budweiser slowly down the side. When the glass is about half full, gradually tilt it upright and finish pouring to create a moderate head of foam (about 1/2–1 inch / 1–2 cm). This technique preserves carbonation and aroma.

4. Garnish and serve

Optionally rub the rim with the lemon or lime wedge and drop it into the glass or serve it on the side. Serve immediately while cold.
