Cleansing & Prep
Cleanse
Apply 1 tbs gentle cream cleanser to dry or damp skin. Massage in gentle upward circular motions for 60–90 seconds, focusing on T-zone and cheeks to dissolve impurities and surface oils.
Rinse thoroughly with 100 ml lukewarm water and pat skin gently with a soft facial cloth until damp but not wet.
Exfoliation (gentle)
Enzyme exfoliation
If using a powdered enzyme exfoliant, mix 1 tsp powder with ~5 ml water to form a loose paste. Apply in a thin layer across the face, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 2–5 minutes (follow product directions) until it begins to lift dull cells. Do not scrub. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and gently pat skin damp.
Hydrating Treatments (layering)
First hydration – essence/toner
While skin is still slightly damp, dispense 2 tbs hydrating botanical essence or toner into palms. Press into skin using gentle patting motions, starting at the center of the face and moving outward. This boosts moisture absorption and primes skin for serums.
Second hydration – serum
Apply 1 tsp hydrating serum with hyaluronic acid and botanical extracts. Use light pressing and spreading motions to ensure even coverage. Focus on dry areas (cheeks, forehead) and zones of dehydration. Allow 30–60 seconds for the serum to settle.
Third layer – moisturizer
Apply 1 tsp rich moisturizing cream or balm. Warm a small amount between fingertips and press gently into the skin to seal in the earlier layers. Use upward strokes and avoid tugging.
Seal with oil
Apply 5 drops of a light face oil (squalane or jojoba) to palms, rub hands together, then press lightly over the face and neck to lock in moisture. If skin is very oily or acne-prone, skip or reduce oil.
Mask
Apply hydrating mask
Place 1 sheet mask or gel cream mask over the skin immediately after applying the serum or moisturizer (choose depending on desired intensity). Smooth to ensure full contact. Leave on for 10–20 minutes as directed by the product. Use your timer. While mask is on, relax and breathe deeply.
After the mask time is up, remove mask and gently pat remaining essence into the skin until absorbed. Do not rinse.
Finishing
Eye cream
Apply 0.5 tsp eye cream in small dots under the eyes and along the orbital bone. Gently tap with ring finger until absorbed. Avoid getting product into the eye.
SPF (if daytime)
If performing this treatment during the day, apply 1 tsp broad-spectrum SPF as the final step and allow it to absorb before makeup. Reapply as needed throughout the day.
Optional: finish with a few gentle rolls using a facial roller or short gua sha strokes (1–2 minutes) to encourage lymphatic drainage and product penetration. Always roll outward and downward, using light pressure.
