Method
Client Prep & Consultation
Greet client and review intake form to confirm skin type, allergies, current products, recent procedures, and desired outcomes. Offer a glass of water and explain the treatment flow.
Ensure treatment bed is warmed, linens are clean, and all tools and products are sanitized and within reach.
Cleansing & Exfoliation
First cleanse
Apply 2 tbs botanical cleanser to damp skin. Use gentle circular motions for 60–90 seconds to remove surface makeup and impurities. Wipe away with a warm, damp microfiber washcloth.
Enzyme exfoliation
Apply 1 tsp enzyme exfoliant evenly to dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 3–7 minutes (adjust per sensitivity). Monitor client comfort. Remove thoroughly with a warm, damp towel.
Steam & Extraction (optional)
If extractions are indicated and consented, apply warm steam or warm compress for 3–5 minutes to soften pores.
With gloves on, perform gentle manual extractions using sterilized tools; use a lancet only if necessary and experienced. Limit extractions to congested areas and avoid over-manipulation. Soothe area with a calming mist after extractions.
Botanical Massage & Mask
Apply 1 tbs facial oil or massage cream to hands. Perform a 10–15 minute customized facial massage focusing on lymphatic drainage, forehead, cheeks, jawline, and submental area. Use slow, soothing strokes and pressure appropriate to client comfort.
After massage, spritz the face with 1–2 sprays of botanical mist to set the product and refresh the skin.
Apply the hydrating sheet or cream mask evenly over the face (avoid eyes and nostrils). Leave on for 10–15 minutes while client relaxes. Remove mask and gently pat remaining serums into the skin with cotton pads.
Targeted Serums & Eye Care
Dispense 1 tsp of targeted serum tailored to the client's needs (vitamin C for brightening, niacinamide for barrier repair). Warm between fingers and apply to face and neck with gentle upward strokes, avoiding the immediate eye area.
Apply 1 tsp eye cream or gel to the orbital bone area using light tapping motions with ring fingers. Address fine lines and puffiness as needed.
Finishing & Protection
Apply 1 tsp of moisturizer suitable to skin type, massaging lightly until fully absorbed. For daytime clients, follow with 1 tsp broad-spectrum SPF, applying evenly to face, neck, and décolletage.
Offer a cup of post-care herbal tea. Discuss a brief aftercare plan: avoid heavy makeup for 24 hours, gentle cleansers for 48 hours if extractions were performed, daily SPF use, and recommended homecare products tailored during consultation.
Tools & Hygiene
Throughout the treatment, use disposable gloves for extractions and when touching open areas. Replace gloves and sanitize hands between steps as needed.
Clean and sanitize all reusable tools and disposables immediately after treatment. Replace linens and prepare the room for the next client.
