50% Wheat beer and 50% Grapefruit flavored drink.

Chill a tall beer glass (pilsner or pint) in the refrigerator or freezer for 5–10 minutes if desired. If you prefer a colder drink, add a few ice cubes to the glass — note that adding ice will slightly dilute the drink as it melts.

Chill

Hold the glass at a slight angle and pour 8 oz (50%) wheat beer slowly down the side to minimize excessive foam. Stop when glass is about half full.

Straighten the glass and gently pour 8 oz (50%) grapefruit soda down the side so it layers and mixes with the beer. Pour slowly to avoid too much foam. The total volume should be about 16 oz.

If using ice, add the 4 ice cubes before or after pouring — if added after, pour slowly to avoid splashing and foam.

Gently squeeze the grapefruit wedge over the drink to add a touch of fresh citrus, then drop it in or place it on the rim as garnish.

Serve immediately while cold. Encourage gentle stirring if the drink separates and the diner prefers a uniform taste.
