Chicken and Sauce

Method

Chicken and Sauce Preparation

  1. 1

    Sauté Chicken

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Pour in the rosé wine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce.

Vegetable Sauté

  1. 3

    Sauté Vegetables

In a separate pan, heat a bit of olive oil over medium heat. Add the bell peppers, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they are tender. Stir in spinach leaves and cook until wilted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Focaccia Bread Preparation

  1. 4

    Make Focaccia Dough

In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy. Mix in flour, olive oil, and salt until a dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  2. 5

    Bake Focaccia

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Punch down the dough and spread it onto a greased baking sheet. Use your fingers to create dimples in the dough. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and rosemary if desired. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
