Juicing / Blending
If using a blender
Place the orange and lemon segments, ginger and turmeric slices into the blender. Add 1/2 to 1 cup of cold water to help blending (start with 1/2 cup). Blend on high until smooth, about 30–60 seconds. Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag into a pitcher, pressing or squeezing to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the pulp or save for another use.
Finish & Adjust
Stir in the cayenne pepper. Taste, then optionally add honey or agave 1 tsp at a time to balance heat and acidity. If the juice is too strong, dilute with up to 1/2 to 1 cup cold water to reach your preferred intensity.
If desired, add ice cubes to chill quickly. Stir again and taste to adjust sweetness or heat.
Serve immediately for maximum freshness and nutrient potency. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 24–36 hours; shake or stir before serving.
