Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients. If using chicken, steak, or ground beef, cook them according to your preference and set aside.

  2. 2

    Grill Vegetables

In a skillet over medium heat, grill the onions and Fresno peppers until they are soft and slightly charred. This should take about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Layer Nachos

On a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter, create a base layer with tri-colored tortilla chips. Evenly distribute the grilled onion, Fresno peppers, diced tomatoes, black olives, and braised black beans over the chips.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top of the layered nachos generously. Pour queso cheese over the nachos.

  5. 5

    Bake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the nachos for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro, sour cream, and salsa. Serve immediately.
