Preparation Steps
Prepare the Ham
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the ham on a rack in a roasting pan, cut side down.
Make the Glaze
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, ground cloves, black pepper, and apple cider vinegar. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth.
Glaze the Ham
Brush the glaze generously over the ham, making sure to get into the scored areas.
Bake the Ham
Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake in the preheated oven. Bake for about 15-18 minutes per pound, basting with the glaze every 30 minutes.
Finish Baking
After about 1 hour, remove the foil and continue baking until the ham is heated through and caramelized, about 30 minutes more.
Serve
Let the ham rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with remaining glaze on the side.
