Prepare the Glass
Rub the rim of a chilled glass with a lime wedge and dip it in salt to coat the rim.
Mix the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, lime juice, triple sec, simple syrup, and ice. Shake well until the mixture is chilled.
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wedge.
