Sparkling Glass Cocktail
Method
Sparkling Glass Cocktail
Chill glass
Place a champagne flute or coupe in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare ingredients to ensure the cocktail remains cold and fizzy.
Muddle aromatics
In a mixing glass or small shaker, add the fresh mint leaves, lemon juice (0.25 oz), and simple syrup (0.25 tsp). Gently muddle just 3–4 times to release the mint oils — avoid over-muddling so the mint does not turn bitter.
Combine liqueur
Add the elderflower liqueur (0.5 oz) to the muddled mixture. If using a shaker and you prefer a slightly more integrated flavor, add 2–3 ice cubes, gently swirl or give a short, gentle shake (1–2 seconds) — do not vigorously shake sparkling wine later.
