Glass & Garnish

Method

Glass & Garnish

1

Prepare rim

Pour the kosher salt onto a small shallow plate. Run the lime wedge around the outer rim of a tall highball glass to moisten. Dip the rim into the salt, rotating to coat evenly. Set glass aside.

2

Skewer three pitted green olives onto a cocktail pick and set aside. Trim the celery stalk if needed and place it in the glass after pouring the drink.

Drink

3

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.

4

Add vodka, house Bloody Mary mix, fresh lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, prepared horseradish, hot sauce, celery salt, and freshly ground black pepper to the shaker.

5

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 8–10 seconds to chill and lightly aerate the mix. (If you prefer a less frothy drink, stir with a bar spoon for 20–25 seconds instead.)

6

Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice to the top (use the reserved ice cubes or fresh ones). Strain the shaken Bloody Mary mixture into the glass over the ice.

7

Garnish the drink with the celery stalk and the olive skewer. Optionally squeeze the lime wedge over the top and drop it in. Serve immediately.
