Method

Cocktail

1

Prepare glass

Choose a large wine glass or stemmed goblet. Fill the glass generously with large ice cubes so the drink chills quickly and stays cold without diluting too fast.

2

Add Aperol

Pour 3 parts Aperol over the ice (for a single serving, that is typically 3 oz if using ounces — see note on parts below).

3

Add Prosecco

Slowly pour 2 parts chilled Prosecco into the glass. Pour gently down the side or over the back of a spoon to preserve some of the sparkling carbonation.

4

Top with soda

Add 1 part chilled club soda (a splash) to lighten the mixture. Stir once gently with a bar spoon to combine — one or two slow turns is sufficient to integrate without flattening the bubbles.

Garnish & Serve

5

Garnish the drink with one fresh orange slice placed on the rim or dropped into the glass. Serve immediately while cold and effervescent.
