Cocktail Ingredients

Method

Cocktail Preparation

1

Chill the Glass

Start by chilling your martini glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

2

Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 1 oz of gin and 0.5 oz of dry vermouth. Make sure you have a shaker that seals properly to avoid spills.

3

Add Ice

Fill the shaker with 4 ice cubes. This will help chill the mixture without diluting it too quickly.

4

Shake or Stir

You can either shake the cocktail vigorously for about 15 seconds to create a frothy mixture or stir it gently for about 30 seconds for a smoother finish.

5

Strain into Glass

Remove the ice water from your martini glass and strain the cocktail mixture from the shaker into the chilled glass.

6

Garnish

Finally, add 1 olive on a cocktail pick as a garnish to your mini-martini.
