BEGINNINGS

1

Prepare the Prawns

In a pot of boiling salted water, add the peeled and deveined prawns. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat and drain.

2

Chill the Prawns

Transfer the cooked prawns into a bowl of ice water to halt the cooking process. Leave them in the ice water for about 5 minutes, then drain and pat dry.

3

Prepare the Serving Dish

Take a serving platter and arrange the lettuce leaves at the bottom to create a bed for the prawns.

4

Mix the Sauces

In a small bowl, combine the cocktail sauce and Sauce Marie Rose. Adjust the flavor with lemon juice to taste.

5

Assemble the Cocktail

Place the chilled prawns on top of the lettuce leaves. Drizzle the sauce mixture generously over the prawns.

6

Garnish

Sprinkle paprika over the top for garnish. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
